Collective Store
This year, Swab presents the Collective Shop, a curated selection of artworks, publications, editions, graphic works, and special projects produced by the galleries and independent spaces participating in the fair.
Conceived as a parallel exhibition project, the shop takes publishing and graphic practices as territories of resistance and autonomy. Printing, publishing, and producing works in accessible formats have historically enabled artists and independent projects to circulate ideas outside conventional channels and build their own networks of exchange.
At the same time, these practices respond to a very present reality within the independent cultural ecosystem: the need to imagine different ways of sustaining a cultural practice. Editions, publications, multiples, and objects make it possible to open up parallel avenues of production and circulation that expand the activities of these spaces and contribute to their sustainability, while remaining connected to their artistic and discursive identities.
Collective Shop brings this logic into the context of the fair, extending the presence of participating spaces beyond their stands and bringing together proposals that sit at the intersection of artistic practice, publishing, graphic culture, and collecting. More than a sales space, it is conceived as a place to observe how these forms of production can become tools for resistance, circulation, and continuity.
The project is conceived and curated by Kiosco de Ideas, in collaboration with the Madrid-based graphic collective La.calor. Together, they create a space where exhibition-making, publishing, and graphic culture coexist, bringing into dialogue different ways of producing, distributing, and sustaining contemporary practices.
Kiosco de Ideas is a bookstore, cultural space, and café in El Raval, Barcelona.
Kiosco was born out of the need to create a space for encounter, circulation, and reflection around images and contemporary culture.
We work with independent publications, small publishers, emerging artists, and self-publishing projects from around the world, with a particular focus on photography, illustration, poetry, and critical thought.
In response to a culture increasingly mediated by screens, Kiosco champions paper, the object, and in-person encounters as ways of looking, sharing, and building knowledge.
Books, fanzines, images, and sounds coexist alongside exhibitions, presentations, conversations, and a sound programme, complemented by a café offering.
An everyday space that understands culture as a collective practice of encounter.

Lacalor is an artistic space and project founded in 2020 by Bruno del Giudice (Chaco, Argentina) and Candela Sotos (Madrid), with the aim of exploring forms of artistic production through graphic art within a Global South context.
The project proposes the use of the archive and the copy as forms of recycling and circularity in production, considering an ecology of images as a way of reformulating histories.
