Ona Galería + Herrera Gallery
Ona Galería (La Habana)
Ona Galeria is an independent curatorial collective and art gallery based in Havana, directed by curators Patricia García (Holguín, 1996) and Enzzo Hernández (Havana, 1992).
Conceived as a flexible space for experimentation, dialogue, and critical visibility, it foregrounds emerging and independent artistic practices operating at the intersection of queer perspectives and contemporary poetics.
The project places particular emphasis on queer artists and communities, women-led practices, and proposals that explore diverse expressions and gender identities.
Artists: Alejandro Cañer and Roberto Guerra.
Herrera Gallery (Barcelona)
Founded in late 2025 by Clara Cortés, Herrera Gallery is a contemporary art space inspired by a family legacy of artistic practice spanning generations. The gallery takes its name from Herrera, the surname of Clara’s mother and grandmother, and pays tribute to her great-grandfather, painter Fernando Herrera. Rooted in this artistic heritage, it honours a tradition of creativity, dedication, and curiosity. Created in response to the challenges of gentrification and mass tourism, Herrera supports research-driven artistic practices through exhibitions, presentations, and gatherings that foster interdisciplinary collaboration, intergenerational exchange, inclusivity, a culture of care, and a gender perspective.
Artists: Irma Marco and Daniela Labrín.
