Amatosole is a furniture brand founded in 2010 by Anna Amato and Ramón Solé, born from the intersection of an interest in traditional architecture and a passion for industrial design.
At Swab Barcelona 2026, design becomes an integral part of the fair experience. Under the concept of "Eclipse," this edition proposes a new way of understanding the role of contemporary art by fostering spaces that encourage encounters, dialogue, and community building. In this context, furniture takes on a fundamental role, becoming a true infrastructure for interaction among artists, galleries, collectors, and visitors.
Thanks to collaborations with Keigio, Amatosole, and Magis, different areas of Swab Barcelona will be transformed into spaces designed for pausing, conversing, resting, and sharing ideas. Each brand will contribute its own vision of design, combining functionality, innovation, and aesthetic sensitivity to create welcoming environments that invite visitors to experience the fair in a more open and participatory way.
From networking areas to spaces for rest and gathering, the furniture will help shape an experience in which design is not merely a functional element, but a language capable of connecting people and facilitating new dialogues. As a fair committed to creating new encounters for contemporary art, these spaces become stages where conversations, collaborations, and exchanges can emerge naturally.
Amatosole will accompany the Reading Room and the Collective Store, creating an atmosphere where the artistic experience is also built through pause, contemplation, and the exchange of ideas. Like a petit atelier, the brand shares with Swab a vision grounded in care for materials, the value of craftsmanship, and attention to creative processes. Its furniture not only supports the space but also establishes a dialogue with the artistic practices presented at the fair, highlighting the importance of time, materiality, and human connection.
Keigio will shape the Forum through a modular system capable of continuously adapting to the dynamics of the fair. Its pieces create a flexible architecture for gatherings, presentations, and events in constant movement. Design thus becomes a tool for enabling new forms of coexistence through the collective construction of space.
In Vortex, Magis furniture will introduce movement and play as part of the experience. Its pieces invite visitors to engage with the space through an open, participatory, and playful attitude. Through the iconic Spun Chair, the everyday act of sitting is transformed into a dynamic experience that encourages curiosity and community building.
These collaborations also reflect a shared vision: the importance of designing in ways that are responsible toward the environment. Keigio
Keigio is a modular furniture brand founded by Italian designer Giovanni Bruni. Its name derives from the Japanese word 形状 (Keijō), meaning “the shape of a physical object situated within a space,” a concept that reflects the brand’s philosophy of understanding design as a force capable of transforming and giving meaning to the environments we inhabit.Inspired by the principles of Japanese design, Keigio embraces simplicity, craftsmanship, and the use of high-quality materials. Its pieces, characterized by clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, are conceived with flexibility at their core: each module can be customized in terms of dimensions, materials, and finishes, adapting seamlessly to different contexts and needs.Modularity lies at the heart of Keigio’s approach. Magis
Founded in 1976 in northern Italy by Eugenio Perazza, Magis has established itself as one of the leading names in contemporary design on the international stage. True to the meaning of its name—magis, Latin for “more”—the company has made experimentation, innovation, and the exploration of new possibilities central to its identity.Throughout its history, Magis has collaborated with some of the most influential designers in the international design scene, developing furniture that combines functionality, material research, and a timeless aesthetic. Each piece is the result of a deep commitment to design, high-quality materials, and meticulous production processes, creating objects conceived to endure and adapt to contemporary ways of inhabiting space.At Swab Barcelona, Magis furniture will shape the Vortex space, bringing a dynamic and participatory dimension to the fair experience.
