A project, a space with its own memory where situations are generated and artists are supported in the development of their work. An interdisciplinary exhibition sequence that fosters formal inquiry, speculative processes, and collective experimentation, grounded in the conviction that art has the power to transform.

Proposal

The proposal is based on two fundamental premises. The first involves a shift from a mechanics of solids to a dynamics of fluids—that is, abandoning the use of impassive materials that neither age nor register the passage of time, in favor of dirty, sticky, and viscous materials. The former conceal a profound fear of death; the latter, akin to bodily fluids, evoke life. The second premise entails moving from erecting a volume to supporting a fall, cushioning its impact; from being supported to supporting, ultimately. What Larré seeks is to approach the sculptural gesture anachronistically, understanding sculpture as a sensitive and mutable body that suspends or reconsiders the relationship sculpture has traditionally maintained with power.
