digestivo
digestivo (Madrid)
digestivo is an initiative that hosts exhibitions, focused on correspondence and resonance between practices through processual and collaborative dynamics.
Guided by the concepts of season and cycle, digestivo produces pieces in response to other artist’s practices and investigates the scope of materialities that develop around acts of fermentation, or preservation. digestivo’s role revolves around the idea of interlocutor of other practices, reflecting upon notions of authorship, and future perspectives of communal encounter.
digestivo was founded in 2019 by artists Lucía Bayón and Lukas Meßner as a project space between two apartments in Rotterdam. Running itinerantly as a nomadic initiative without a physical space from 2020 till 2024, digestivo collaborated with artist run projects, institutions, and galleries across Europe.
Since 2025, digestivo its currently run from Lucía Bayón and develops its programme from its new space in Madrid.
Proposal
The proposal articulates exercises of mapping, modulating and transcribing air flow, at an embodied and infrastructural level. Departing from sound work, both artists will present newly produced sculpture and installation that give a hearing sense to the extremities of material.
Adrienne Herr (1991, USA; lives and works in Berlin) explores the plasticity of speech. By delaying, elongating, stuttering, fragmenting, and juxtaposing phrases and words, she positions the voice as a point of tension between language and materiality. With a background in experimental poetics, her work often stages a kind of associative leap and reflective repetition. Herr works across video, sound, and sculptural installation, as well as live performance, vocal ensembles, dramaturgy, and poetry.
She has presented her work at Akademie der Künste, Batahlja Centro de Cinema, Westfälischer Kunstverein, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Fieldnotes, and Den Frie Centre for Contemporary Art, among others.

Noela Covelo Velasco (Pontevedra, 1994) develops her practice through sound and spatial composition, performance, and collective processes. She has recently exhibited at the Centre de Lectura de Reus (2026), Digestivo (2026), Generaciones 2025 at La Casa Encendida, and MARCO de Vigo. She has also presented performances at the Pontevedra Biennial (2026), Jauna Muzika (Vilnius, 2025), La Capella (Barcelona, 2024), and CA2M (Madrid, 2023).
She holds a degree in Design, specialising in Fashion, from ESDi, and a Master’s degree in Sound Art from the University of Barcelona (UB). She is co-founder of c h o r o, a space for pedagogical experimentation based at Foc.
