ADN Galeria (Barcelona)
Founded as a hybrid platform between commercial mediation and cultural contribution, ADN Galeria promotes and supports current artistic ideas and trends. Its program focuses on content-based productions that function as a semantic reflection of the contextual dynamics in which they emerge.
Transcending its role in the market, ADN Galeria is committed to its artists by building international networks of recognition and providing strong support for their careers through an active policy of media coverage, online communication, and participation in art fairs.
Its policy of collaborative work with intellectuals and professionals from the art world allows ADN Galeria to continuously develop its program and promote current practices in the field of visual arts. It also contributes to the development and support of new collectors through professional and in-depth art advisory.
Proposal
The material, spatial, and symbolic structures that organise collective life are historical constructions shaped by relations of power. Our proposal brings together artistic practices that, through the appropriation, research, and critical rereading of objects, architectures, narratives, and cultural devices, examine the mechanisms that shape memory, territory, and social experience.
The works explore the tensions between history, power, and subjectivity, questioning processes of representation, the ways in which space is produced, and the institutional frameworks that shape our understanding of the commons. In doing so, they open up fissures in dominant narratives and propose new ways of inhabiting, remembering, and collectively imagining.
Since the beginning Jordi Colomer’s work has been incorporating scenical device elements to a singular sculpture’s point of view. Since 1997 he has pointed out the use of photography and videoinstallation. His first videos are shaped from beckettian micronarratives, where individuals debate themselves with objects, decoration and artificial spaces. In his career’s second period, these characters wander the streets or the desert with gestures and drifts that -somehow absurd- entrust a noticeable critical spirit, in order to finally look into the possibilites of poetical survival in a contemporary city.
Colomer’s work has been shown in numerous individual exhibitions. Among others: at the 57th Venice Biennale, at the Matadero Madrid, at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, New York, at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid, at ECCO, Contemporary Cultural Space, Brasilia. He has participated in several collective exhibitions, such as the MAAT, Lisbon, at the Devos Art Museum at the University of Michigan, USA, at the CA2M. Centro de Arte 2 de Mayo, Madrid, at the Heritage Square Museum, Los Angeles, at Manifesta 10, St. Petersburg.

For close to twelve years, Nicolas Daubanes has been producing work on the prison world (drawings, installations, videos), resulting from immersive residencies in prisons. From his drawings with iron filings to his monumental installations of concrete, he deals with the moments of both suspension and the fall: it is a question of seeing before the fall, before the ruin – a vital impulse. The iron filings – a fine, dangerous, and volatile material – used in the drawings and wall drawings refer to prison bars and, by extension, to escape.
Nicolas Daubanes’ works are part of important private and public collections, including the Frac Occitanie Montpellier, the Frac Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur, the Frac Franche-Comté, the Mrac Sérignan, and the Fonds d’art contemporain Paris collections. Nicolas Daubanes was the winner of the 2016 YIA Prize, the 2017 Grand Prix Occitanie d’art contemporain, and the 2017 Mezzanine Sud Les Abattoirs prize. He was also the winner of the 2018 Amis du Palais de Tokyo prize. In 2019–20, his solo exhibitions were presented at the Frac Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur, the Château d’Oiron, and Palais de Tokyo. In 2021, he was awarded the Drawing Now prize.

Laura Llaneli lives and works in Barcelona. She studied music and earned a diploma in graphic design. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona, where she also completed a master’s degree in Sound Art and another in Teacher Education.
Laura Llaneli’s work explores the relationship between sound production and the experience, language, and practices of contemporary visual arts. She highlights the impact of variations on the stable patterns and structures of certain cultural products, testing the resilience of language as a code and of sound as a social icon. In her most recent work, she investigates forms of sound that operate from absence or latency, such as sound without sound or the sound of memory through language, as well as notions of the infra-ordinary, the subtle, or the nearly imperceptible.
Her awards include the 2018 Miquel Casablancas Prize and the 2017 Embarrat Prize. He has held solo exhibitions at venues in Spain and abroad, including the Centre d’Art La Panera (Lleida), the Joan Brossa Foundation (Barcelona), Casal Solleric (Palma de Mallorca), ADN Galeria (Barcelona), the Joan Miró Foundation (Barcelona), Casaplan (Valparaíso, Chile), Swinton&Grant (Madrid), and Art3 (Valence, France).

Gema Polanco (Valencia, 1992) is a visual artist whose practice spans installation, textiles and drawing. Through recurring symbols, materials and gestures, she constructs emotional and symbolic landscapes that explore identity, care, desire and transformation.
Drawing from Punk and Rock & Roll aesthetics, traditionally male-coded spaces, and combining them with the mystical, the domestic and the surreal, Polanco questions the feminine inheritance that confines and categorises women. Her work creates spaces of possibility, alter egos and emotional refuges from which to imagine new forms of care that are honest, accessible and non-normative.
Alongside her artistic practice, Polanco works as an art director, film director, curator and stylist, primarily within the music industry. She is also the founder of Navaja Automática, an ongoing project that, since 2017, has transformed the visual culture of music into fashion, prints and fanzines through a D.I.Y. ethos.
She holds a BA in Photography from the London College of Communication (London, 2015), a postgraduate degree from PHotoEspaña (Madrid, 2016), and an MA in Visual Arts and Education from the University of Barcelona (Barcelona, 2017). Her work has been exhibited at festivals and institutions including Circulation(s) in Paris, PHotoEspaña, PhotoAlicante, Art Nou, LOOP Barcelona, the Miami New Media Festival and Aragón Park.
Her work is included in collections such as CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo, IVAM Institut Valencià d’Art Modern, DKV Collection, Kells Collection, the Universitat Pública de València Collection, Studiolo Collection and the Servais Family Collection.
In the last year, she has presented the solo exhibition Amor mira cómo vivo at Moisés Pérez de Albéniz (Madrid), participated in Mostra d’Art Públic / Universitat Pública 2025 at the Universitat de València, and was recently featured at ARCO 2026 with a solo project presented by Moisés Pérez de Albéniz and Jorge López.
